What happens in a 90-minute first consultation

Ninety minutes can sound like a long appointment. It is long on purpose. Most of what we need to understand about your health is in the details that a short visit never reaches.

Your story first

We start with what brought you in, then work backwards: when it began, what makes it better or worse, and what you have already tried. There is no rush to reach a conclusion.

The whole picture

Next we look at sleep, digestion, energy, stress, movement and what a normal day of eating looks like. Concerns that seem unrelated are often connected.

Tests and records

If you have recent blood tests or letters from your doctor, we review them together. If further testing would help, we explain why and what it would show.

Your first plan

Before you leave, we outline a first plan in plain language: what to change now, which therapies may help, and when we will review progress. You take a written copy home.

How to prepare

Bring any test results, a list of medication and supplements, and a few notes on your symptoms. A two-day food diary is useful but not required.

Our consultations complement, and do not replace, care from your doctor.
