Therapeutic massage
Hands-on work to release tension and improve circulation.
Hands-on relief
Therapeutic massage uses slow, focused techniques to release tension, improve circulation and support recovery. Pressure is always agreed with you and adjusted during the session. It is often booked for neck and shoulder tension, aches linked to posture or training, and the physical side of stress.
How it fits your plan
Sessions run 60 or 90 minutes. Some people book a short course, others use massage as regular maintenance. Massage pairs well with acupuncture and mind-body therapy. Your therapist shares what they notice with your care team, so recurring tension can be looked at from more than one angle.
What to expect
A calm, unhurried first visit. You can ask questions or pause at any point.
Nothing special. Arrive a few minutes early and avoid a heavy meal just before.
Your therapist asks where you hold tension, any injuries or conditions, and how much pressure feels right for you.
You rest on a warm treatment table under linen while your therapist works slowly on the areas agreed. You can ask for more or less pressure at any time.
Drink water and move gently for the rest of the day. Mild tenderness can happen and usually settles within a day.
